The founder of NFD worked as a co-site manager on the construction of the Olympic Swimming Pool in Ashgabat, Turkmenistan, which was a part of the Ashgabat Watersports Complex with a total area of 194 000 sq f. built by Turkish construction company Gap Insaat. Construction lasted 2 years.

On December 8, 2006, the Complex was officially opened, with the participation of the President of Turkmenistan Saparmurat Niyazov.
